Well known and admired 108 year old Rabbi reveals the Messiah's name!
I was listening to a Moody program a few days back where they talked about a form of mysticism infiltrating the church. They called it "Christian Mysticism." In this teaching they try to level the playing field, sort to speak, and put Christianity on the same level as Hinduism, Buddhism, and other eastern religions. It's a very dangerous teaching and I saw it infiltrating the Air Force chaplaincy when I was enlisted over 18 years ago!

Yes, I think Sid Roth claims there are 60 ORTHODOX Rabbis who accept Jesus as their Messiah. However, I doubt more then their closest intimates know that.
I perceive Jewish society to be an interesting mix of collectivist and individualist culstures, social structures. There’s tons of group pressure to group conformity while allowing some significant individuality along some lines—such as choice of kosher business etc.

First of all, I never stated all of Matthew 24 was fulfilled in 70 AD - only most of it.

In addition to everything else, it proves that God is not finished with the Jews and indeed chose a rabbi, not any Christian minister, to bless with the revealing of His name and the revelation that it will be after the death of Ariel Sharon that He will return. Jesus Christ will go to that length to bring His people to Him.

The sad truth is . . . far more often than not . . . what . . . 98-99% of the time? . . .

is that when folks believe that, I'VE YET TO OBSERVE many at all--I'd probably be hard pressed to think of even a handful--not many at all seem to have a very robust deeply rooted authentic spirituality, brokenness before God, sacrificial servant-heartedness etc. There must be something about the willful blindness involved that also clouds the whole of their spiritual being.
Revelation is clear about the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. Parsing words and rubberizing Scripture will not change Revelation's clear description.
It's interesting that they side step or rubberize the aspect of the END TIMES ANTI-CHRIST AS WELL.
The guy in REVELATION IS IN CHARGE OF ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH AS THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF SCRIPTURE MAKES ABUNDANTLY CLEAR.
THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED, IN ALL OF RECORDED HISTORY . . . . YET--THOUGH IT'S RIGHT ON THE BRINK. IT CERTAINLY DID NOT HAPPEN IN 70AD. WHAT IDIOCY!
I'm also increasingly convinced by the evidence such posters present that there must be some demonic element facilitating such blindness and such Scripture mangling. Still, it's hideous to observe.
