I just remembered (and searched for) the FR Master Ping List -- a list of ping lists with their custodians. It's outdated now -- spring of 2007. I found another thread (June 2009) discussing updating it (and some people added to it newer ping lists they keep), but I don't know if a more recent complete update was ever compiled.

I’ve got some of those tlists saved in my bookmarks too. It would be a huge undertaking to update them all.
