Any good upstanding righteous Christian would never dream of NOT tithing

NONSENSE. I don’t know any Christian who limits their giving to just 10% (tithing). Furthermore, it is not compulsory in the least, we are under grace, NOT the Law.

God doesn’t need our money, He wants our offerings.

And NO GOOD UPSTANDING CHRISTIAN PASTOR would ‘check’ their members giving with a ‘tithing settlement’.

If it’s a REQUIREMENT for going to the celestial kingdom, that’s God’s call, not mine and not yours.

It is a requirement YOUR CHURCH makes, not God.

There are myriad of churches you need to avoid. I heard so many sermons about tithing in the pentecostal, evangelical and baptist churches I have attended in the past.

Name them and what they actually said. Again your professions "where I used to attend" is really suspect.

One of the top tactics of satan is to create doubt of the authenticity of the Bible....and elevate another source of counterfeit truth above it. Again..satan waves his banner ...”Mission Accomplished” over the heart and minds of LDS/Mormons.

We can only "soldier on" in trying to keep others from falling into the trap, and thank God for the ones for whom we have been instrumental in helping escape.
