The Purpose For This Index The Rapture Index has two functions: one is to factor together a number of related end time components into a cohesive indicator, and the other is to standardize those components to eliminate the wide variance that currently exists with prophecy reporting.
The Rapture Index is by no means meant to predict the rapture, however, the index is designed to measure the type of activity that could act as a precursor to the rapture.
You could say the Rapture index is a Dow Jones Industrial Average of end time activity, but I think it would be better if you viewed it as prophetic speedometer. The higher the number, the faster we're moving towards the occurrence of pre-tribulation rapture.
Rapture Index of 100 and Below: Slow prophetic activity Rapture Index of 100 to 130: Moderate prophetic activity Rapture Index of 130 to 160: Heavy prophetic activity Rapture Index above 160: Fasten your seat belts

Like I posted before, and I'm posting with the very Word of God
Verse 26 tells us "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing,", It does not say after 62-1/2 weeks the Messiah will be cut off, and it does not say that the Messiah will begin his ministry after 62 weeks.
Now this is where you need to pay RRREEEEEAAALLLLL CLLLOOOOOSSSEE Attttteeennnttttiiion
Then it tells us after Messiah is cut off, that the city and sanctuary will be destroyed. NOW...We can look at verse 27: "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate." The first 7 weeks have gone by, the next 62 weeks have gone by and Messiah is cut off, and the city and sanctuary are destroyed...NOW...HE will make a covenant for 1 week (7 years), but in the middle will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering. Who is this HE? Messiah has already been cut off after week 62 (69), and now week 70 starts with a covenant which is broken by the the one who made it 1/2 way through.
No matter how much you might twist stuff, and I don't care what some so called preacher says. THE WORD OF GOD IS CLEAR ON THIS
Verse 26 says AFTER the 62 weeks, Messiah will be cut off.
Verse 27 says: And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week
Timeline works like this,69 weeks Messiah cuttoff, THEN one week covenant made.
It doesn't get any clearer. You can hope and change and wish all you want, you cant' change the fact that verse 26 happens before 27, and that Messiah is cutoff BEFORE the one week covenant.
there is no more grain offerings there has been the final sacrifice by Christ there is no temple the only temple left is Ezekiel’s and that is the millennial temple. If you are waiting for a temple to be built and the abomination of grain and animal sacrifices to start up again before the return of Christ you will never see it.
Paul says otherwise.
2 Thessalonians 2: 1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
3Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
4who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the TEMPLE of God, displaying himself as being God.
Derned Bible, proves you wrong again.
Thanks for playing
Hey GP you're even talked about in the Bible
2 thess. 2:11For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Thank you USALiberty; I am pinging Quix’s Level Two End Times list though I realize you folks thereon don’t see the “Rapture Ready” issue all the same way, this seems to be a good thread to put this on, and thanks,

Then Comes the End...
On July 11, 2010 (1st of Av - Hebrew calendar) the date of the 3rd total solar eclipse in three years, Bob Sheppard, the longtime public address announcer for the NY Yankees baseball team died. He was 99 years old. Two days later, on July 13, George Steinbrenner, the longtime owner of the same sports franchise, died of a heart attack. He was 80 years old.
There are reasons I believe this to be a prophetic sign. The word Yankee is used worldwide as a reference to the citizens of America. George Steinbrenner, the owner of the Yankees, was born on the 4th of July, 1930. He serves as symbol of the American nation, being born on the day of the nations birth, and owning the ultimate symbol of America, her premiere baseball team. His worldly success is a symbol of the American dream. He bought a floundering sports franchise for $10 million dollars and built it into a behemoth valued at $1.6 billion dollars today.
George Steinbrenner had just experienced his 81st 4th of July. The number 81 is 9 times 9. In the Scriptures the number 9 denotes judgment. Furthermore, Steinbrenner died 9 days after he witnessed his 81st Independence Day.
Bob Sheppard was 99. This is a multiple of the numbers 9 and 11. The number 9 once more denotes judgment, and 11 denotes disintegration and disorder.

Thanks for the ping!
Those are interesting numbers, to say the least.
The numbers that added up on that horrible day, 9/11/01, were also interesting.
Gematria(The Hebrew Study of Biblical Numerology), Bible Codes, and other calculations are all very intriguing, but I try not to let them take my eyes off of Jesus, Who is Our Blessed Hope.
BUT! Time is getting Short.
THAT is pretty plain!
Anyone who would like to come to Our Garden of Prayer to pray For The peace of Jerusalem, according to Psalm 122:6, is welcome. It is a Prayer Thread, so we don’t debate, we just pray.
Ping me if you are interested.
Thanks for your posting, sister... But it misses the point. The fact that the eclipse happened for three years running on the 1st of Av is the bit that holds portent:
"The Nine Days inaugurates an even greater level of communal and personal mourning in recognition of the many tragedies and calamities that befell the Jewish people at this time."
The Nine Days culminates with Tisha B'Av.
It is almost certainly a portent of great calamity.
We need to pay great attention to (as in "observe") the Holy Days that God ordained.
No, believe not as you like, but through faith in Christ and what God has provided for us.
So the Church didn’t exist until after 70AD?
The Temple is determined by God, by His Sovereignty, not by man.
Great post!
Why would you turn over your free salvation to men in Rome?
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
While I agree, people should live their lives (and live them as if they will meet Jesus at any moment) clearly, there are verses that point to us *watching*. Interestingly (I have been a member of Rapture Ready for a number of years, altho I don’t post often anymore) they forbid date setting. We won’t know the hour or the day, but in Luke 21:28-36 Jesus certainly indicates we can know the season.
I think we all have different tasks and gifts. Some people are interested in studying end times and being *watchers*. They can certainly use this as a witnessing tool.
But, everyone, no matter what their gift or task should be about the business of witnessing. We can’t let an interest in something consume us to the point where we are not using it as He intended.
If you recall Peter was afraid when they took Jesus to be crucified. Does that mean he wasn’t a true Christian? If you think about the sort of suffering that will go on in the tribulation, I don’t think anyone WANTS to go thru it. And if they think they do, it’s because they don’t really conceive how bad it will be.
I don’t think it’s really fair to question someone’s salvation based on how much they want to suffer.
I am pretrib mainly because I hope it is. But, my faith is not predicated on any of this happening as I envision it. I (and the rest of us) are likely wrong about at least parts of it.
BTW saw a supposed UFO from China video on Fox this morning. Have not had a chance to look that up yet, but it was the strangest thing I’ve seen (that didn’t come from a movie studio). We live in interesting times.
If you discern the Bible on your own, you, in essence, become your own pope, and, in fact, that’s probably why we have tens of thousands of non-Catholic faiths ...
I dont think its really fair to question someones salvation based on how much they want to suffer.Maybe it would be better if I said that our salvation will be based on how well we handle the suffering that Christ has allowed us. That is to say, to suffer like Jesus, with love and joy for even our enemies. Not easy to do, but all things are possible with God ... :)
