over time the the authority to direct the church was lost.

AH make that the other John...

John the Apostle...

But how can that be also ...

Because you also said ...

“The apostles were killed”

So which is it ???

Joey Smith was twooful when he claimed John was still alive in 1844...

or Joey Smith was lying and you are correct john was killed...

OR

Joey was twooful when he said that John the Apostle was alive in 1844...

but John was killed between June 1844 and June 2010...

So you then both woulod be twooful...

Dont get mad at me...

I didnt invent the everlasting moving and everlasting progressive and everlasting revisionable lunacy of mormonism...

How about we justy saqy that Joey Smith was a liar when he said that the LORD Jesus christ was a liar...

How about we just agree with the Bible that the LORD Joeus Christ never lost, misplaced, dropped, or had stolen His Bride, the Church, the Believers in Him ???

The apostles were killed, however, and over time the the authority to direct the church was lost. Hence the need for a restoration.

Is or is not John alive, and where is he????????????

You see; he is BEHIND the curtain.

Really? You'd think they'd trot him out once in a while. Think, "pope-mobile"

Actually the Book of Mormon records that Christ chose twelve disciples on the American continent. It never refers to them as apostles.

Where exactly norman? Mormon apologists have tried to pin the tail of the bom lands a lot of places over the years. Including Malaysian pennesula and Africa. So if you will please point to the correct geography we may make a beginning to the validity of your claim.

Yes, we believe John the Beloved, and the three Nephites did not taste of death and were permitted by Jesus to “tarry until I come” (John 21:22)

I don’t know where they are, but Jesus does and they are doing His will.

After Christ left the earth the apostles had the authority to direct the affairs of the church by revelation.

The apostles were killed, however, and over time the the authority to direct the church was lost. Hence the need for a restoration.

So according to Joey Smith and mormonism...

1. all the apostles were dead

2. Jesus the bridegroom was dead or incapacitated or “victimized” to obscurity...

So that the Bride of Chrsit was left on her own alone and widowed...

until the sparkly Joey Smith came along 1800 years later and rescued err restored the Bride of Christ by becoming the new and improved bridegroom ???

Well thats what you said...

At least thats what you said that Joey smith said..

just think about that kid...

John 21:22-23 Jesus answered, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me." Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?"

Listen to rumors much? Jesus was basically telling Peter to mind his own business.

“For someone who is unashamed of the gospel, you are sure reluctant to state it. “

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I am not ashamed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not ashamed to love our Heavenly Father and I am not ashamed of the Holy Ghost in my life.

I don’t know what you people are talking about. You don’t make any sense. Condemn condemn condemn - that’s all you know how to do. And then like little spoiled rotten children, you play the blame game and other silly word games that also make no sense.

You hate Mormons but don’t even know why. It’s a spiritual battle.

Personally, I’m getting tired of being condemned to hell by the anti Mormons on this site. I have been a Mormon for over ten years and never one time have I heard another Mormon condemn non Mormons to hell. That would not be Christian; that would not even be civil.

Get over yourselves already and stop hating and blaming Mormons. Me thinks thou protesteth too much.

I will pop in once in a while to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Otherwise, I just let you all wallow in your own vomit.

So how did the Constitution of the United States ever get written 25 years BEFORE the lord joey smith was ever born ???

How did the the Church ever stumble along for all those 1800 years without the sparkly-Joey-with-the-golden-eyes

to rescue her from the tower ???

to awake her with a kiss ??

to dance with her at the ball ??

Well ???

Well there you have it again....another ‘dead’ phoney leader claiming salvation thru him and his church. But then Smith did say he'd be the next Mohammedan...fashioning himself after another ‘dead’ leader.

All false religions, cults, and the occults have their man of the hour, so to speak.....but they are All dead or will be... and gone.
Jim Jones had his following, and he took most of his followers with him in death as well....and their are others like them over the centuries. ......They are exactly those who Christ warned us about time and time again.....Antichrists and Anti-Christian. The all tack Christ or enough Christianity beliefs into their religious systems to attract and hook people because Christ and Christianity have an attraction to the masses. But just as Jesus said.....”"all who came before me are thieves and robbers" so we have those who continue desiring their own power and worship”......and they continue to steal and rob the truth from peoples souls today.

Christianity however has the ‘'risen'’ Christ..alive and well! and central to the faith. No other additional books or revelations are necessary.....He is are all in all...and it is all about Him. Any one person or persons a church adds or elevates above Him, including their church itself has put themselves on dangerous ground of shipwrecking their faith....only a matter of time.
