Pope to World: Close Year for Priests With Prayer

VATICAN CITY, JUNE 9, 2010 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI today noted that the Year for Priests is drawing to a close this Friday. He invited the faithful of the world to spiritually join in the closing ceremonies.

The events to end the Year for Priests are attracting thousands of priests to Rome this week -- every priest of the world was invited by the Vatican.

An initial registration deadline had to be extended because of the quantity of requests to participate.

"The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which we celebrate the day after tomorrow, will mark the conclusion of the Year for Priests," the Pope said today at the general audience. "Thousands of priests from all parts of the world will gather in Rome to praise the Lord and renew their commitment.

"I invite everyone to participate in this event with prayer."

You don't need to spam FreeRepublic with the same news topic under different headlines in a very short time.

It is spamming the site.

However, I am not the "Admin Mod lawyer and hall monitor", and I rarely call someone on this, but your successive posts on this same subject are blatant. Also, I have found that posters will justify anything they do no matter what someone else thinks at time. But, these are the rules from the homepage:
