I've had direct experience with people who are "caught up" in UFO lore. (Me) I also have an "area" in physics to supplement my computer science degree. My career is closely tied to the sciences.

That loosely qualifies me to respond to you. It was my observation that most of the people who get suckered by all of this are completely ignorant of physics. Now, I'm not even talking about the biggest problems related to interstellar flight. (If we assume the ETs have managed to circumvent the problems of interstellar flight just to explain the weird stuff.) UFO/New Age belief systems are based upon things that just aren't true.

I remember one charlatan "expert" lady who taught "new age science", and claimed to be an expert physicist. When I asked her to resolve some force vectors on the white board, she became defiant. It wasn't long before she admitted that she didn't have a clue about resolving force vectors. That problem is "Physics 101" and ordinary trigonometry. Imagine how they'd come apart if they had to find solutions to magnetic flux or field charge problems?

The easiest way to penetrate this veil is to ask the "new age experts" to show the math behind their assumptions. They will attempt to proclaim that their knowledge transcends Newtonian physics. It can then be shown that they don't know Newtonian physics, which we demonstrated to be true ages ago.

This is sort of a tricky process, because it is the "small things" that show the "biggest cracks". You won't be able to argue the loopy belief system head on, because you will have little basis to contradict the imaginary physics they profess. They will speak of "vibrational levels". That is core to their crud. Ask them what the vibrational frequencies might be for each level. The cracks, on the other hand, are most evident in ordinary down-to-earth physics. If they don't know that, how could they know this hocus-pocus stuff?

If your family member does not know any physics, encourage him to learn some and then test the "experts". Pray fervently for guidance and revelation. God will help, but He is very subtle sometimes.

Guy Malone at

and

Has helped 100’s of individuals and families become free of the demonic entanglements involved with the UFO stuff . . . as well as stopping abductions and poltergeist etc. phenomena that, in some cases, has followed families for generations.

I have observed scientific and mathematical debunking of these new agers UFOers presentations on science... and it is generally removed from a website or people are escorted from seminars as aggitators because very few are open to the facts of reality and prefer to remain in their fantasy world...and “believe” the psyco babble. It’s one thing to hear or look at it...investigation can be fun.....quite another if you truly believe it...there is a difference.

You stated....”UFO/New Age belief systems are based upon things that just aren’t true”.....

I agree but a person can and does “believe” whatever they determine they want to believe...true or not..and many do in the face of otherwise evidence. I’m certain you understand this as so as well.

You also stated....” the Imaginary physics they profess. They will speak of “vibrational levels”. That is core to their crud. Ask them what the vibrational frequencies might be for each level”......

The thing is it IS “imaginary”...but they still believe it....like John Nash”s book...he believed what who he saw was absolute, no question... but it was all in his mind. Not that everyone is like him, but the idea that the mind can and does create illusions that just are not there. If you also add to the mix ones hope or belief it definately enhances the illusion....as well group think and then get everyone to empty their mind thru soft music and all that stuff...well..wala! One is open to any suggestion an instructor , guru, etc. might determine you ahould “go to”.

....and you gave the very best advice here....”Pray fervently for guidance and revelation. God will help.”......I have learned important as well to give God room to work when in a difficult situation...he often does so behind the scenes using other people...happenings etc.

You were saying ...

The easiest way to penetrate this veil is to ask the "new age experts" to show the math behind their assumptions. They will attempt to proclaim that their knowledge transcends Newtonian physics. It can then be shown that they don't know Newtonian physics, which we demonstrated to be true ages ago.

That's not very useful to Christians, though -- in some ways. Let me illustrate a way in which it's not useful.

As Christians, we know that we will be resurrected from the dead, and be given immortal and perfect bodies -- as the Bible tells us that the dead will be raised up (from the earth and even those having been scattered in the oceans, having died a very long time ago). And then -- the "living" at that time, will be changed from their mortal bodies to immortal bodies, in the twinkling of an eye, while still alive, not having to die first, but being transformed "on the spot" to the immoratal and perfect body, which they will live in corporeal and living bodies, never to die for eternity after.

NOW ... using that methodology that you use in asking those to "explain" some of these things that they assert ... I'm wondering how many Christians will be giving you the "mathematics" underlying the raising from the dead, even when they have been scattered in the earth and in the deepest oceans and how the mathematics of the matter explains the ones who are still alive at that time, being transformed into immortal bodies, that never die from that time forward, on into eternity.

How are those Christians, not only supposed to give the mathematics behind it, how are they to give any particular "laws of physics" behind it?

ALSO, what is the "mathematics" behind how Satan was able to do what he did to Job and his family ... when God gave him the "permission" to proceed -- with the power that God said he had (and could use).

Job Chapter 1

12 And the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your
power; only do not lay a hand on his person." So Satan went out from
the presence of the Lord.

13 Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and
drinking wine in their oldest brother's house;

14 and a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the
donkeys feeding beside them,

15 when the Sabeans raided them and took them away--indeed they have
killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have
escaped to tell you!"

16 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The fire
of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and
consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!"

17 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The
Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels and took them away,
yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone
have escaped to tell you!"

18 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons
and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's
house,

19 and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck
the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and
they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you!"

20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to
the ground and worshiped.

21 And he said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked shall I
return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be
the name of the Lord."

22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.

AND, furthermore, I would like to know the "mathematics" and/or "laws of physics" that govern the ability of Peter to walk on the storm waves, out to Jesus, and how those same laws of physics which worked and allowed him to walk out there -- also -- functioned so as to have him "sinking down" a moment later. I'm sure we're talking about the same laws of physics in action at the one moment before and the one moment later -- acting in a consistent fashion upon Peter, while he was "walking on the waves" -- at one second and "sinking" the next second.

THEN, a real good one to know the mathemathics behind and the relevant laws of physics, would be how you create a "wall of water" on the left side and the right side of Israel, as they crossed over to the other section of dry land ("on the other side"), but then, after they got across, the walls of water on the left and right (which stayed up all night long, the night before), all of a sudden came crashing upon Pharoah's chariots and drowned them all, on the very same spot where Israel had just walked through.

It looks like -- at least to me -- that Christians would be no better at explaining the "mathematics" and "laws of physics" explaining some of those things that they know happened in the Bible -- than some of these other folks would be able to do.

YET..., in the case of Christians -- even though there is no mathematics and laws of physics that even the experts have been able to come up with to explain them -- Christians know that those things have happened exactly as the Bible has told them.
