Yes, the Son submits to the Father. Recall what Jesus said to His Father prior to His crucifixion: “Not my will but yours be done” (see Matthew 26 and Luke 22). That is submission to the Father’s will.

Arianism, Docetism, Donatism, Monarchianism, Monophysitism, Monothelitism, Montanism, Nestorianism, and of course, a bunch of different versions of Gnosticism. Without the Church and the Creeds, there is only the chaos of, for example, the ruins of the Reformation, and the rubble of the Restoration.
