It is sad you never tasted the sweetness of the Holy Spirit in your life
________________________________________
Back in the 1980s I was told ny the mormons there was no such thing as the Holy Spirit...
When did that change ???
It is sad you never tasted the sweetness of the Holy Spirit in your life Which no living man can imitate.

THere’s nothing sweet about the lies of mormonism...
Nobody gives credance to the King Follet funeral sermon by Joey Smith...
“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! That is the great secret.”
“Intelligence is eternal and exists upon a self-existent principle. It is a spirit from age to age and there is no creation about it. All the minds and spirits that God ever sent into the world are susceptible of enlargement.
The first principles of man are self-existent with God. God himself, finding he was in the midst of spirits and glory, because he was more intelligent, saw proper to institute laws whereby the rest could have a privilege to advance like himself. The relationship we have with God places us in a situation to advance in knowledge. He has power to institute laws to instruct the weaker intelligences, that they may be exalted with Himself, so that they might have one glory upon another, and all that knowledge, power, glory, and intelligence, which is requisite in order to save them in the world of spirits.
This is good doctrine. It tastes good. I can taste the principles of eternal life, and so can you. They are given to me by the revelations of Jesus Christ; and I know that when I tell you these words of eternal life as they are given to me, you taste them, and I know that you believe them. You say honey is sweet, and so do I. I can also taste the spirit of eternal life. I know that it is good; and when I tell you of these things which were given me by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, you are bound to receive them as sweet, and rejoice more and more.”
(Joey Smith, King Follet Sermon, Sunday, April 7, 1844 (As printed in History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 302-317)[This sermon was also reprinted in the April and May issues of the 1971 Ensign.]

You want mad cow? You can't handle mad cow!!!!
Resty; what in the world is the Spirit of the Holy Ghost? Although I have to admit that Alberta Premium Rye Whisky is pretty heavenly...
Only as a phrenologist.
He seemed to think he was at least equal to Jesus.
I'm sure that Joseph Smith had enough time to think up an even better planet than Earth, with more willing females, horses, sheep, and gerbils.
You know that part in mormon lore that says ya gotta walk past ol' J. Smith to get to heaven??????
Joseph Smith is the shoeshine boy for those entering Heaven? Interesting; the shoeshine boys don't normally get to fly...
Digusting. Please remove your tales of tonsil hockey to the Penthouse forums... :)
LOL, you are a total riot. Your ignorance is a great source of entertainment.
I don’t know how to tell ya this, but the words fair, white, dark, black, etc all used to mean something else in old fashioned british english. Here’s a hint, it had NOTHING to do with race. Fair meant fine or unblemished. white meant good or godly. dark and black meant ungodly or sinister.
That’s what I’ve been told....
1. The Journal of Discourses deservedly ranks as one of the standard works of the Church, and every rightminded Saint will certainly welcome with joy every number (issue) as it comes forth. (President George Q. Cannon)
