Why is it when you defend Christianity against cults like Mormonism youre anti whatever? To defend the faith does not make you anti anything .... what Christians are about are defending their faith against cults like LDS ... we are anti-theology, not anti-Mormon people .... you are the ones who are anti-Christian ... Who is Jesus according to you?
FWIW I'm not Morman, never have, never will be. That said, it's your opinion that it is a cult. I see a trend on FR where anyone who speaks out against the RCC is automatically labeled anti-Catholic however FR Catholics have a field day with non-Catholic religions.
We have more in common than our religion, as in conservatism, and our time would be better spent furthering conservatism than tell each other that our priest or preacher wears combat boots.

Sorry but that's the way it came across to me .... it is not my opinion that LDS is a cult ... it's the definition put out by people who defend Christianity against LDS .. the definition of a cult is: * o - religion: a system of religious or spiritual beliefs, especially an informal and transient belief system regarded by
* o - religious group: a group of people who share religious or spiritual beliefs, especially beliefs regarded by others as
* o - idolization of somebody or something: an extreme or excessive admiration for a person, philosophy of life, or activity.
In this case Joseph Smith Jr.
Time spent? It's time well spent defending Christianity.

Gotta wonder at an anti-catholic coming on a mormon thread and slamming the anti-mormons.
