The Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ are the same metaphor proposing different emphasis.. one implying fleshly operators the other implying spiritual operators.. as I see it..

Jesus did try to wean us of fleshly identity toward a spiritual one.. Which ever identity you identify with will determine what you may see in scripture.. AT least it did and does with me..
