Besides the utter insanity of some of those blasphemous titles (Tower of David; Tower of Ivory; Morning Star!) note this common prayer slips in the nomenclature of "Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world."

Is a title blasphemous and insane because it does not correspond with your taste in language?

There is faith, and there is reason. Faith cannot be reduced to reason — but if one tries to do that, it seems to me one loses both.

May the Holy Spirit be with you, dear sister in Christ!

My "taste in language" matters as much as my taste in luncheon meats.

What matters is the word of God, and titles given to Mary such as "Tower of David" and "Morning Star" are blasphemous.

Who is the Morning Star in Scripture?

"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." -- Revelation 22:16

So I ask you -- do Roman Catholics actually understand what they're saying?
