Some folks have jobs . . . and/or express things hereon . . . which make disclosing much about their personal lives very DANGEROUS.

That’s the case for me though I’ve posted far more than has been wise.

It is all the worse if I end up a missionary again in Asia.

Some folks also have spouses who are absolutely rigidly firm about NO PERSONAL INFO TO BE SHARED ON THE NET AND PARTICULARLY SUCH FORUMS AS FR.

That is the case with at least one prominently posting Protty.

Dangerous to “express things hereon...” That would obtain for Catholics in a large part of Asia. Yet, knowing that, you freely demand that Catholics tell you every little thing about their faith life. If we don’t, you decide it’s because we CAN’T.

If I should go to India, as I’ve considered doing, what would await me there, in some regions? Or the Middle East, as I have been invited to go with a government agency? Wherever I go, I will go as a Catholic.

The “danger” dodge is baloney, quix, and you know it. I cannot imagine JR giving up any FReeper information. And give me a break. You are not that important.

If I gave out one more piece of the right kind of personal information without giving out my name, there are a lot of people who could very easily figure out who I was.

Not going to happen.

I like my relatively dull, uneventful life.
