Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem~A Psalm For Today

Psalm 143

A Psalm of David
1. Hear my prayer, O LORD,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness.

2. And enter not into judgment with thy servant:
for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

3. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul;
he hath smitten my life down to the ground;
he hath made me to dwell in darkness,
as those that have been long dead.

4. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me;
my heart within me is desolate.

5. I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all thy works;
I muse on the work of thy hands.

6. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee,
as a thirsty land. Selah.

7. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth:
hide not thy face from me,
lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee.

9. Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies:
I flee unto thee to hide me.

10. Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness.

11. Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake:
for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12. And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies,
and destroy all them that afflict my soul:
for I am thy servant.

Heavenly Father,
How Wonderful,
How Majestic,
How Glorious is Your Most Holy Name!
We Come Before You.
Not on our own merits,
But because of Your Righteousness, Faithfulness, and Love,
According to Your Holy Word!

1. Hear my prayer, O LORD,

Abba Father, We Thank You So profoundly for allowing us a glimpse into the soul of Your Servant David,
A sinner like ourselves, prone to discouragement,
and yet A Man After Your Own Heart.

3. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul;
he hath smitten my life down to the ground;
he hath made me to dwell in darkness,
as those that have been long dead.

4. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me;
my heart within me is desolate.

5. I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all thy works;
I muse on the work of thy hands.

6. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee,
as a thirsty land. Selah.

7. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth:

LORD, Let us not lose Faith in Your promises,
merely because Current Events seem so skewed in the other direction!
We Thank You For Preserving Your Word,
And Your People,
To Show The World that Indeed, Your promises Are True and As Real As They Ever were!

8. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee.

9. Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies:
I flee unto thee to hide me.

10. Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness.

Father, Number us NOT with those who whisper lies to Your People.
Those who say "Peace and Safety" out loud,
but who inwardly plot against You and Your Beloved!
We ask You to Intervene in the Affairs of Nations,
And Change the Direction of Our Own.
We Plead With You, That Our Leaders will be Led by You
with regards to Our Own Country's Policies Towards Jerusalem,
Or That You Will Remove Them.
We Plead That Your Will be Done,
On Earth, As It Is In Heaven.

Father, We Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise,
Abba, We Pray For The Redemption of ALL The Children of Abraham.
We pray for an END to Lies, Slander, Blood Libel,
Propaganda, and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For An End to Slavery, Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews, In Bondage in Hostile lands,
Especially in Egypt, Somalia, Europe, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netayahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

My letter to the Israeli PM today,

Mr. Prime Minister, please remember this when dealing with the PA and the current US Administration,

Psalms Chapter 121

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help [cometh] from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

As a Christian I know that Israel belongs to the Jewish people and that they are blessed by the Lord, and I pray for you and your countrymen. A PA state could have been formed years ago, since there is so much land that belongs to your neighbors. It is not about a homeland for them it is about your destruction. Mr. PM, trust in the Lord and he will deliver you and your people, whom I consider my people as well. And although this email will probably be intercepted by my government and my name added to a list, I feel to strongly about Israel’s well-being than being concerned about that.
