An attack on the Immaculate Conception and the perpetual virginity of Mary.

The Immaculate Conception doctrine is debatable among Christians, but Mary’s perpetual virginity has always been Christian tradition. To claim that the Bible teaches against it is simply false.

The larger question, I suppose, is why some who imagine themselves Christian feel the need to be so strongly schismatic.

“To claim that the Bible teaches against it is simply false”

Relying on the Infancy Gospel of James? or some false writing like it?

The really pregnant question is how could someone who fancies himself a Bible scholar pretend to write a treatise on the Bible's definition of Mary with reference to 1 Luke 28?

There is NO SARCASIM AT ALL.... Immaculate Conception and the perpetual virginity of Mary does not exist in the Bible. As you stated it is a tradition not Scriptural fact. Please try to find it. We listed evry verse pertaining to Mary found in the Holy Script. I know this must be a blow to all that you have been taught as it was to me. But I want to see her as Almighty God's Word states and describes her. She still is lovely. Let her be who she truly is. That is God's commandment.

————————I don’t understand. Mary had other children, by Joseph, how could she be a perpetual virgin? Yes, at the time of Christ’s immaculate conception, but not with the other children. Right? So no, I did not see this as an attack at all on the immaculate conception. But frankly, I have never heard, read or been told that Mary was always (perpetually) a virgin. Yes, that one immaculate conception is perpetual.(going on for forever). In Christian teachings, reading etc, I am not aware of a ‘tradition’ that you speak of.

WRONG AGAIN.

A lie from the deceiver.

A revisionist rubber history deception.
