My Pleasure!
I teach music the same way I teach History. Real facts, Real People, real Stuff.
And guess what, the kids LOVE IT! LOL!
So happy to share. I am delighted that you have been edified by it. Would you like to be pinged every day for this? Just let me know.
Thanks, Yorkie!
Now we know where that lovely saying comes from...From Miriam’s Song!
Hey...I wouldn’t mind having a Badge like that!
My Hebrew Name is Miriam and I too am a Singer-Songwriter, and so this Chapter, the first Recorded Song in History, is dear to my Heart.
Thank you for your prayers, AJ.
My Name, Mary, is the Anglacized form of Miriam, Moses’s Big Sister. (It means “Bitter” I suppose that means I will encounter some of that in my life!)
I am also a Big Sister!
Now we find out that Miriam was also a Singer-Songwriter! Here is her Song in its entirety, the first recorded song ever, in Chapter 15 of the Book of Exodus.
Guess What. I’m a Singer-Songwriter too.
Miriam was also very rebellious against authority, and in later years actually had to be struck with LEPEROSY when she mouthed off at God!
Something I should be careful about. LOL
Oh, and my Middle Name (Louise) is French. It Means WARRIOR.
This a a very informative map, and it tells the story.
I post the Map periodically on this Thread for two reasons.
1. To remind People of WHAT A Miracle the SURVIVAL OF ISRAEL truly is.
and
2. To Illustrate how Truly Ridiculous it is to portray Israel as the AGRESSOR in this Conflict.
As Confucius would have said, “A single picture is worth a THOUSAND words.”
THANKS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS.
AMEN! AMEN!
The petition to sacrifice the Passover? lamb on the Temple Mount sure set a new level of excitement about the times we are in.
INDEED!
INCREDIBLE.
GOD HIGHLIGHTING THEIR GREED AND ABSURDITIES . . .
Yes.
Is this the First time in the Sixty Years of the Modern Jewish State that They have made this request? Do you know?
Although it would be a very Dramatic Symbolic gesture to make a Passover Sacrifice on or abutting the Temple Mount, the Original Lambs were one per household, and took place in or near the home.
The “One Sacrifice for the Whole Community of Israel” would be more Biblical in The Autumn High Holy Days.
It IS really Interesting that they have chosen THIS particular time, when all the nations of the world are turning against Israel, to make their request.
V-e-r-r-r-y Interesting!
Amen to THAT!
INDEED.
THAT’S MY FEELING, TOO.
VERY INTERESTING at this particular time.
God be with them mightily.
And with all who Love HIm.
Whatever their intentions, it will probably create trouble, even if they are within their rights to do so.
I pray there is no violence, and nobody gets killed.
INDEED.
THX.
Requests for a Passover sacrifice are made every year and turned down by the secular authorities in Israel every year.
The Temple Institute is not the only group making such requests. The Institute’s web presence, along with Israel National News, make it the most noticeable to Christians.
This is not news.
'In those Days the Whole World will be Ruled by the Lord from Jerusalem.
He will Issue His Laws and Announce His Decrees from there.' (Micah4:2)
Thank you for that information.
It is always best to have the truth about these things.
Thank you for your prayers and Scriptures, Kitty mittens.
As I had mentioned in an earlier post, Passover is a Household Celebration anyway.
The Samaritans sacrifice sheep at Passover every year in their own area, and nobody is concerned about it.
Note the Torah Sage indicating Passover sacrifice “upon Moshiach’s arrival”.

Rav Chaim Kanievsky Expresses Support for Effort to Prepare for Korban Pesach
Thursday March 11
A new effort to prepare Yidden for the coming of Moshiach in time for Pesach 5770 has received the approval from gedolim. The project is aimed at having Yidden organized in chaburos, with animals inspected and ready to be used for the korban Pesach upon Moshiachs arrival prior to the Chag Hamatzos this year...
