Do you consider the Pope and the Catholic magisterium the ultimate authority in interpreting the scripture? Do you pray to anyone other than God through Christ?

Thank you for your questions, dear brother in Christ!

Do you consider the Pope and the Catholic magisterium the ultimate authority in interpreting the scripture?

Again, I eschew all the doctrines and traditions of men - whether given by the Pope/Magisterium, Luther, Calvin, Arminius, Billy Graham, etc. Any of these - like anyone here on the forum - may convey the words of God.

But the words of God are spirit and life. The words of men are neither spirit nor life. The indwelling Holy Spirit brings the words of God alive within me. That is how I spiritually discern the difference.

But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. - John 14:26

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. - I John 2:29

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. - John 15:4

Like I said, I'm just a Christian plain and simple.

But I do not denigrate any Christian who leans on the whole counsel of his religious authorities. God has not lead me on such a path, but if He ever did, I would of course follow His leading.

Do you pray to anyone other than God through Christ?

I've had occasion to be in court several times, and the attorney used the term "pray" for "ask" in my petitions. But I presume your meaning is not a request but a devotion.

And my devotions (prayers) are always to God in the manner Christ commanded:

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. – Matthew 6:9-15

The request side is the least part in my prayer. The greatest part is the devotion: Our Father Who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And the daily Bread I request is the Word of God, Jesus Christ. He is my source and sustenance:

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. – 1 Cor 10:1-4

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. – Matt 4:4

I am that bread of life. – John 6:48

And of course I meditate strongly on the forgiveness caveat. God's justice is perfection. We each individually build the scales whereby we will be each and individually measured – weight by weight. (Matthew 7:1-2) And God assures the balance:

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: - Luke 6:37

Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. – Matt 5:7

So I endeavor to forgive and forget before my prayers.

To God be the glory, not man, never man!

She probably doesn’t but that she can debate Catholics with reason makes her respected. Anyone who continues to insist we pray to anyone other than Jesus Christ, despite being informed countless times by many Catholics that what they’re spreading is a lie, are logically held under suspician as being anti-Catholic propagandist bigots.
