...and as I've said: Tradition does not contradict Scripture. Bowing down, or kneeling, to statues of Mary and expecting her to make God respond to your prayers is against Gods' will.
Ex. 20:3 You shall have no other gods before Me.
Ex. 20:4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything...
Ex. 20:5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
