No, I did not call anyone who does not follow the Catholic religion a nutcase. I am simply offended by posts and statements like this, in which people go out of their way to insult and denigrate Catholics, who are their fellow Christians. And by people arrogant enough to think everyone should buy into the idea that their judgment is superior to, say, St. Jerome or St. Augustine, without offering any proof. In my opinion, people who behave in this insulting, overbearing manner are nutcases.

Thanks for clarifying...it is just that I have been similarly offended in the past by Catholics making arrogant remarks about non-Catholics simply because they don’t buy into the Catholic religion and sometimes even hiding behind the “Catholic Caucus” to do so. I personally don’t belong to any organized religion, but rather have a personal relationship with the Lord. The Bible states that God inspired all Scripture and that is good enough for me, I don’t fret over the details of who translated what. In fact, the whole premise of arguing which mere mortal “gave” us the Bible is really silly if you ask me. It is the Word of God, period.

That was a stawman, your post clearly implied that you thought the AUTHOR of this article was a nutcase. I don’t see how that could be miscontrued to say anything about you believing anyone who isn’t in The Church is like the author of this article.
