ELCA ceased to be christian with its merger, ordination of women made it more liberal, now ordination of homosexuals makes it for to the left. It is just a social group that has not for profit status. The ELCA social group in my community is headed by a woman that is not married and is nothing but a feminazi. her speeches are just fluff. after her speeches she goes to the local watering hole with her live-in partner. The ELCA is now on the attack against Christians that care for and support Israel. Presiding ELCA bishop Mark Hanson says the support of Israel by Christians “ . . . is a dangerous and radical political movement.” The ELCA has websites and brochures denouncing them.
