"We will serve you if you will get us free from the French."
Video at link.
Or maybe you’re hearing what you want to hear based on your own biases.
I have no biases when I judge things but weigh them on what I see and observe. We are called to be just.
What FACTS?
Abortionist to Haiti: “Stew in Your Own Juices” for High Population

Its loudest nuts on both sides that ruin it for the rest.
He was stating the reasons why the Chinese were implementing their abortion policy.
His father was a segregation Democrat.
I agree that Pat Robertson can be a nut, but I wouldn’t tie God into your thought that he cannot use nature to cleanse the world. The fact that Christ now acts as our sacrifice does not mean what you have asserted. Simply turn to the book of Revelations where nature will be used extensively in the end times. Christ himself speaks of this to his disciples in the “Olivet Discourse.”
Sounded that way to me.
You have to admit that you made some very definitive, fundamentalist illustration about how God initiates punishment based of who sins more than others.
In retrospect, the people of Haiti should be considered as saints in regards to what they have endured the last 2 centuries. To imply that they have brought down God's wrath for their “sins” is cruel and self righteous.
Don't forget, you become a beacon of attention when you proclaim to know God's intent or preach his retribution.
Yes, forgive me for my quick preview and bad grammar.
I have no biases, either. Yet, one of us is right and one of us is wrong.
Not me.
Of course not.
There are a couple of instances in the New Testament where Jesus dealt with this type of issue. In Matthew 13, he stated that those who died when a building collapsed will answer to judgment just the same as you and me. In John 9, the disciples asked Jesus about a man born blind and whether it was due to his sin or his parents’ sin. Jesus answered that it had nothing to do with the sins of either; rather, it was so that God’s work might be displayed.
When I see things like what happened in Haiti, I think about these principles. God judges everyone whether they die in a tragedy or in their bed at 100 years of age. He also uses all situations for His glory and for His will to be accomplished. I presume nothing else.
yeah I read that too....poor Haiti...between a rock and a hard place...
Patty Robertson does not believe in the whole ‘...judge not lest ye be judged’...aspects of the Christian Bible.
and the doooosh on the left wants to run a Hitleresque eugenics program starting with Haiti.....
Yes he is, and the people of Haiti certainly haven't been "blessed"
Not yet, and I probably won’t, but the belief is something to think about.
