You said all 'we' were doing was defending our denomination, well what are you doing? You claim you don't believe in the Trinity. By definition then you aren't a Christian. How can a Christian answer questions about Chrisitianity to one who isn't one yet claims to read scripture, pray etc and wears the trappings of Christianity? I've read this whole thread and is wasn't until #6200 or so that your unbelief in the Trinity became manifest. IF YOU read the whole thread, you'll have seen that I have many disagreements with Catholicism, but MD gave you some beautiful advice about praying and asking the Father for guidance before reading the Scripture. I would have said pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you understand. At any rate good sound pastorly advice. You indicated that you already do that. Fine, God answers prayer, apparently His answer to you was No. Unless you are willing to modify your request, it will probably stay that way and the doctrine of the Trinity which marks Christianity will continue to elude you.
For those arguing free will, here is a good example.
"God answers prayer, apparently His answer to you was No."You know nothing of our relationship to make such a statement.
IF YOU read the whole thread,
I've been following the entire thread. You think I remember every name that has responded?
"I've read this whole thread and is wasn't until #6200 or so that your unbelief in the Trinity became manifest."
Wrong. You're about 3000 posts off.
