Judith, I was not speaking of moderators, and I would be surprised if you didn't know that (but you surprise me a lot.)
Also, you seem to call in the moderator at the drop of a hat.
Regardless, whoever posts a thread can ask for that thread to be deleted. I've done that when I posted a duplicate thread.
So chill out. The fact remains a Roman Catholic FReeper posted that link. Period.
Let's hope it stays on the forum and doesn't disappear.
Normally . . .
in my experience . . .
“chill out’
by person “A” in a relationship or exchange . . . to person “B”
presupposes
a CAPACITY to do that.
Methinks, perhaps, something happens in some Parochial schools which . . . neutralizes that capacity. Perhaps an emotional module is inserted which is on near constant overdrive.
Or maybe certain cliques in the belief system go to special retreats to learn how to be constantly wound up.
I’ve met a few Pentecostals like that, too . . . and even some Calvinists . . .
However, I think that Roman Catholics et al comprise the larger percentages of such populations.
The rule of thumb for Religion Forum threads is to lock and not pull because some posters put a lot of effort into their replies which they or other posters or lurkers may want to bookmark for future reference. If the thread is mostly empty, a troll thread, duplicate, etc. it might be pulled.
I will put a note to the mods on the thread you linked to not pull it, since it has been used as an argument here.
Are you promoting Roman Catholic FReeper infallibility now?
