Wouldn't that just refer to someone who is Latin Rite?
Because we're not all Latin Rite. There are Maronites, Syro-Malabar, Chaldean Catholics etc.

When 99% of "Catholics" are Roman Catholics it is a fair and reasonable term to use.
It's also just a foolish deflection by trying to cast the papacy as a victim, once again.

OK, but wouldn't it be true that around here if someone said "RC" (without malice) it actually would correctly refer to 95% of the Catholic posters hereon?
