My beliefs and faith does not rest on what the “Early Church Fathers” may or may not have encouraged or stated. Btw, I have only one Father and He is God.
I would assume each Church/denomination and their branches have their own ideas of who those church fathers would be as well.

I'm not asking you to have your beliefs and faith rest on the Early Church Doctors. You believe in a community of believers, correct? That community also includes those who prayed and thought and taught years ago. That includes the Church Doctors and it is good to read them to understand what they taught and how the evolution of our beliefs came and also how they fought early heresies like Arianism, etc. That is analogous to reading Jefferson and understanding how our great nation came to be
Also, The Church Doctors are common across all The Church -- Orthodox, Orientals, Catholics even Lutherans and Anglicans consider the same early Christian Doctors. The only difference would be gnostics or Manicheans who may include Mani or others.
