The Thief on the Cross experienced a literal death with Jesus, and died with the hope of his resurrection, guaranteed by the words of Jesus “you shall be with me in Paradise.”

Scripture ???

From the Bible..

The thief knew nothing about the resurrection of Jesus or of his own...

He never mentioned anything like that...

He was in terrible pain, could hardly breathe and did not hold a long conversation with Jesus..

after rebuking the other thief...

“Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Luke 23:40, 41

His words to Jesus were...

“Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Luke 23:42

Then Jesus answered him..

“I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

Nana, you’ve answered your own question, found the relevant passages to support my point, and done my homework for me.

We need to do this more often.
