Over the past month there has been a great deal of discussion about the Stupak-Ellsworth-Pitts amendment in the House health care reform bill. Unfortunately, much of this discussion has been driven by misinformation about what our amendment does and does not do. I would like to set the record straight: Our amendment maintains current law, which says that there should be no federal financing for abortion.

I hope they have Bishops that take church law seriously
CINOs = Catholics in name only.
And just where are the Bishops denouncing these baby murderers?
And why are they not going home to stonings?
They should be stoned right after attending church this Sunday led by the priests.
These “Catholics” for the most part have been defying the Church for years. Many of them follow the greatest “Catholic” (Ted Kennedy) that the Church just burried with honors. Ted, we know, was a massive supportor of abortion and abortion funding along with these other “Catholics”.
We have some Bishops, Bishop Tobin for example, who are speaking out but the funeral of Ted Kennedy was such a disgrace we should not be supprised these Senators voted this way.
Here they are:
“Patrick Leahy (D-VT), John Kerry (D-MA), Paul Kirk (D-MA), Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Tom Harkin (D-IA), Richard Durbin (D-IL), Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Patty Murray (D-WA), Jack Reed (D-RI), Christopher Dodd (D-CT.), Claire McCaskill (D-MO.), Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), Mark Begich (D-AK), and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).”
I see that that 2 faced snake, Susan Collins, did her best to make it ‘bipartisan’.
The Catholics on FR firmly believe in the Ten Commandments.
Patrick Leahy (D-VT),
John Kerry (D-MA),
Paul Kirk (D-MA),
Robert Menendez (D-NJ),
Mary Landrieu (D-LA),
Tom Harkin (D-IA),
Richard Durbin (D-IL),
Maria Cantwell (D-WA)
Patty Murray (D-WA),
Jack Reed (D-RI),
Christopher Dodd (D-CT.),
Claire McCaskill (D-MO.),
Barbara Mikulski (D-MD),
Mark Begich (D-AK),
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).
That is quite a list of names. It’s discouraging that some of the most notorious loons in the Senate are faux Catholics.
Very sad.
