I am asking for prayer for my marriage. My husband [name deleted by Mod for poster's own protection] has committed adultery. I know God hates divorce and this appears to be the direction he is taking. Lots of issues involved...I won't go into here..but he needs to come to repentance and to allow God to heal his heart...and mine too. The pain is almost too much to bear at this point. Our marriage needs divine healing and that is what I am asking you to pray for. God is not through with us as a couple yet...we have much work to do. Satan has tried to put a monkey wrench in the mix...but God is greater. Thanks for praying...

I’ve never seen so many offensive posts on a prayer thread. Some people are really heartless. If the thread says ‘pray’ or ‘prayer’ they should stay off if they can’t offer support.
Sara, I think you jumped the gun on that post. I checked out Divorce Busters when I was going through my own divorce. I found lots of helpful advice there pertaining to trying to save a marriage.

I’m sorry that I misunderstood you. There are so many mean replies on a prayer thread, when you suggested a divorce site, I thought you were being mean as well.
Before you contemplate any drastic action like divorce you should do some research on why men cheat. It usually isnt because the male has fallen out of love. Males have a strong biological desire to pair bond with one female but also take available females. It is genetic.

There are always two sides to every story and we have only heard an accusation from one side.That being said, anyone that is as busy on the internet as leenie is raises questions in my mind why she would ask for prayers from strangers.
Men will cheat on all kinds of women. Beautiful, intelligent, sweet and loving it doesnt matter. It is what we are put on this earth to do.

I too have notice that not only on prayer threads, but other threads that there have been a lot more offensive posts lately. It is so disheartening, especially when so many people are hurting for one reason or another. Thanks for your comment. Hopefully some people will take your advice and stay off of prayer threads, in addition to thinking before they comment on any thread.
Another person blaming the victim and saying the bad guy is not at fault.

I have a strong urge to pee on the carpet when the game I'm watching goes into overtime. Then I remind myself that I'm above base animal instincts like that (and messing around on my wife.)
There is no justification for adultery. Fix the marriage or get a divorce.
