It's the mechanically dictated that differs from the Christian view. I was always taught “infallible, inerrant, Word of God, perfect in every detail, inspired by the Holy Spirit.”

I understand what you are saying. But you must engage people like, for example, Peter Ruckman and his “Pensacola Bible Institute.” Some other “Independent Baptists” out there hold to mechanical dictation and providential preservation of the KJV manuscript tradition, if not the KJV itself.

Kooky people who at least will not be blowing themselves up and others to push their point. At least they have that going for them!
