Speaking of telephone songs, for the last few days I’ve had Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show’s “Sylvia’s Mother” going through my head.I like their cover of Only Sixteen. Coming of age in the Seventies, I didn't find out about the Sam Cook original until later. (I still like the Dr.'s better!)
