Bishop Murphy Issues Video Statement on Health Care Reform
Clearly outlining the uniquely Catholic position on the national health care reform debate, Bishop Richard Murphy weighed in yet again on the continuing discourse that could have major implications for both major political parties next year. Through the use of a web video available on both the main U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops website and youtube, the three-minute video showed Bishop Murphy explaining the Churchs position on health care reform as not only a competing voice, but one that operates over 600 of the nations hospitals at no expense to the taxpayer.
