Roman Catholics aren't the only ones that wrestle with this issue. The cry for women priest is based upon a secular or worldly understanding of equality, and not upon a theological foundation. Most “conservative” denominations that allow women priests/pastors because have an anemic understanding of the office. They tend to see everything in terms of function and utility rather than an as a participation in Christ's office. A woman priest is an ecclesiastical version of same sex marriage. The Bridegroom is now a woman.

Absolutely right! In fact, since the Anglican Church approved ordination of women priests, the number of male candidates has continued to shrink. We have seen a similar phenomenon in the Catholic Church since certain dioceses approved girl altar servers. Our Maronite bishop has told the priests in his diocese (the eastern half of the US) to drop female altar servers.

I don’t think there are any conservative Catholic women who want to become priestesses. You would think they would show up on places like FR if they are out there. Anytime you hear about these ladies wanting to be priestesses, they are ALWAYS wackadoo libs who dig baby butchery and the homosexualist agenda.

A woman priest is an ecclesiastical version of same sex marriage. The Bridegroom is now a woman. Wow...that's quite a quote. I actually agree with you, but my my...
I'm going to remember that one.
