BE PREPARED TO WAR AS NEVER BEFORE !
The Joshua Chronicles | Jesus the author and finisher

Posted on 09/09/2009 1:20:32 PM PDT by Jedediah

Your going to see things move very quickly now for I AM aT the fronT of this battle against darkness and the taking back of my land .

Be prepared to war against the enemy as never before and remember the armor of Jericho for the walls of the enemies encampments Shall go down in great tumult amidst your war cries and the blast of the trumpet for you are my shofars of delight .

Now do my bidding and assault the fortresses of kerioth and lance all her rulers that " Lie " within her by the filling of my spirit and the washing of my water as my Blood( Testimony of Jesus Christ , Coals of fire from the throne ) touches their lips for it is a new and better covenant I vring to these nations(people)and Land .

Joshua 4:10-23

10 Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the LORD had commanded Joshua was done by the people, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried over, 11 and as soon as all of them had crossed, the ark of the LORD and the priests came to the other side while the people watched. 12 The men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over, armed, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them. 13 About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the LORD to the plains of Jericho for war.

14 That day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life, just as they had revered Moses.

15 Then the LORD said to Joshua, 16 "Command the priests carrying the ark of the Testimony to come up out of the Jordan."

17 So Joshua commanded the priests, "Come up out of the Jordan."

18 And the priests came up out of the river carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD. No sooner had they set their feet on the dry ground than the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and ran at flood stage as before.

19 On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. 20 And Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. 21 He said to the Israelites, "In the future when your descendants ask their fathers, 'What do these stones mean?' 22 tell them, 'Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.' 23 For the LORD your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea [a] when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over.

***Sorry, I know NO Christians who worship the Bible.***

You have posted favourably with a number of them in recent memory. They indicate themselves by calling the Bible the Word of God, rather than the word. They also arrogate upon themselves the authority to interpret God’s message to us. They repudiate the Church of Jesus Christ and either follow churches of men or their own individual whims.

***We just believe what it says. ***

If it were that easy, then there would not be thousands of Protestant denominations and even more non denominational cults.

***Try it sometime, Mark.***

I do it every day.

***Don’t you understand the difference between catholic (universal) and Catholic (church) either?***

A difference which makes no difference is no difference. Jesus will welcome all men if only they pick up their cross and follow Him instead of every little cult that happens to set up shop in the malls and storefronts.

***Argghhh. (She hits her head on the brick wall.....)***

Please stop. There is no need.

It IS the Word of God, Mark. Good grief.

The Church He created is the Body of Christ, not the Roman Catholic Church. That’s only a small part of it.

No it is not. John 1:

1
1 2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2
He was in the beginning with God.
3
3 All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be
4
through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race;
5
4 the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The Word is Jesus Christ, not a book. The book itself tells us.

That is correct. The two wings of the Church are the Orthodox and Latins. They comprise the Body of Christ. Thank you for making the clarification.

I didn’t make that assumption. YOU did. Sorry, wrong-o. THE BODY OF CHRIST CONTAINS MEMBERS FROM EVERY RELIGION.

Really? The Satanists are going to be well represented? How about the neo pagans? Thuggees? The Mayans who tore the living hearts out of their sacrifices?

Perhaps Tom Cruise is a member of the Body of Christ. What about those who worship the earth, humanity or Marx?

Or are you only speaking of those who profess to follow Christ? Such as the Unitarian Universalists (well, the “Christian” side of it)? I must decline to agree with your statement since Scripture and the Church indicate against it.

***Whatever.***

Hardly whatever. John goes into rather elaborate detail. How can a self described Christian shrug it off with a ‘whatever’?

You can call Mary the Mother of God when she truly is not, so whatever is just my way of ignoring you.

You have no idea who is a Christian and who isn’t. That’s up to God.

So when I post the introductory verses of John’s Gospel to you, you consider it trivial or non-binding?

Including many on this forum, I trust. But your statement was that all religions contain people that are in the Body of Christ. Do you have any evidence or proof of it? I brought up some examples, not all of whom practice(d) horrific things but some of whom do; and some others that have a belief system which not only denies but actively combats Christianity. Do these have members who are in the Body of Christ? If so, how do you know?

I don’t know for absolutely 100% sure, but I know that God can move anywhere He wants to so I wouldn’t leave out any group of people.

You belong to a group of people who do not take the entire Bible to heart. You pick and choose what you want, mostly the gospels and Paul. I don’t have to explain anything to you. Jesus IS the Word but the Bible is also God’s word to US.

It’s not that you decided not to leave out any group of people, it’s that you definitively claimed that there are those in the Body of Christ in any religion. I just gave some examples and asked you for your confirmation.

***You belong to a group of people who do not take the entire Bible to heart. ***

What an odd statement. The Catechism of the Church is free to all to read online. The Faith has quotes from the entire Bible as opposed to the Catechisms of men that I have read which are narrow in scope and focus on small areas only.

***You pick and choose what you want, mostly the gospels and Paul.***

And Peter and James and Jude. Jesus set up His Church in the New Testament - the new Covenant and His instructions to men. We have the Bishops of the Church commenting on His Words, but although we have more Scripture than any Protestant, we also use as basis more Scripture than any Protestant doctrine, creed or belief. We believe in God - the God of Scripture.

***Jesus IS the Word but the Bible is also God’s word to US.***

We have the words from the Bible itself which are very clear. We believe that God inspired the Church to select the Scripture that it did in the fourth century, but the authors are clearly not dictating God’s Word through them except for what Moses tells us that God told him.

John very clearly states in Revelation that God told him to write down what he saw; God did not pick his words for him.

Very well timed; thank you.

is perhaps just a tad easier to navigate. The USCCB one is perhaps a little less negotiable.
