Yes - though only as information stored, somewhat temporarily as altered states of electric charge on very tiny areas of silicon.
It wasn't worthy to be inscribed on Golden Plates.
And if it were, it would be about as credible.

How would you consider lynching by fellow Freemasons?
Joseph (& his cousin, Oliver Cowdery) were founding members of the Nuavoo Lodge. The Grand Master Mason who inducted JS into Freemasonry raised him as far as 3rd Degree on that same day.
Seven weeks later, he morphed his Temple ordinances so that they precisely mirror Masonic rituals, step by step.
The Freemasons were enraged by his “Rogue Lodge” which was (is) essentially Masonic, yet not linked with the official Lodges.
JSjr & JSsr were arrested on several occasions (both individually & together on different occasions) & charged with fraud, namely claiming to use peep-stones to find hidden treasures.
They & some of their money-grubbing fellow-hucksters (who had never found *anything* valuable) came to an agreement that if any of them found anything, they would all share in the glory.
When JSjr found his “gold” (almost certainly brass of 1800s genre, fabricated by the same money-grubbers to see what he would do with them) plates & he did not share the glory, he broke that agreement, so some of the horde were probably from amongst that number.
His death-cry was also Freemason, the full quote being “Oh Lord, my God, is there no help for the orphan’s son?” This quote distances one’s self from adopted childhood of God & the “God” in question is almost certainly Satan, which Freemasons do not discover until hitting the 30th Degree (even then the entity in question is misnamed “Lucifer”).
Mitt Romney is also either a 33rd Degree Freemason or has been carelessly using gestures & postures which will drastically shorten his life expectancy.
Before he started his little enterprise, JSjr was a member of the Methodist Church, then the Minister took him to task over his crystomancy (divining via peep-stones).
Before that, his mother Lucy wrote to a friend, describing JSjr as a story-spinner who by grafting his own details onto a wild story could make it seem reasonable & plausible... which seems to be exactly what he did with the Book of Mormon, Book of Abraham etc plus two other possible sources written just before that time by others, & both of those were available to him then.
The final Systemantics point worth noting is that Lucy owned a KJV Bible, quoted from it incessantly & insisted on her children doing the same. Writing KJV-style for “translating” the Book of Mormon would have been almost natural for JSjr.
When an Elder prays in KJV-ish, he is not demonstrating “reverence,” he is demonstrating that the system has replicated JSjr himself rather than merely replicating any doctrines invented by him.
