Do you know what I find to be sad?
It’s that folks like you have no clue as to what Southern Baptists are, yet you choose to be judgemental of us.

The reason I didn’t know what the Nicene creed is, is that it’s not called by that name.
Not only is it taught, but it is lived by Southern Baptists.
All except the part about the “We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.”
To us, it’s not just a prayer, either.
It’s the basic tenet of Christianity, and you have to believe it to be saved.

I’m not going to speak to the other denominations you mentioned.
If you want to find out about them, I highly encourage you to do so.

Now, I’m going to leave this thread to those who are willfully uneducated, and holier than thou.

BTW, what you and other Catholics think of us is of no consequence.

It is among Christians. What do you guys call it?

The Baptist thought is supposed to be sola scriptura, individual interpretation, right?
