8. He will lead a world revolution and establish a new world order.
9. He will lead military action against all those who oppose him.
10. He will invade many countries.
11. He will make a seven year peace treaty with a Jew of priestly lineage.
12. He will conquer Israel for Islam and lead the “faithful Muslims” in a final slaughter/battle against Jews.
13. He will establish the new Islamic world headquarters from Jerusalem.
14. He will rule for seven years (possibly as much as eight or nine).
15. He will cause Islam to be the only religion practiced on the earth.
16. He will appear riding a white horse (possibly symbolic).
17. He will discover some previously undiscovered biblical manuscripts that he will use to argue with the Jews and cause some Jews to convert to Islam.
He’s way too late. Indiana Jones found it in the 1930s.

This is interesting. I remember seeing a documentary about the Ark on PBS or something. It was kept in very low key church in Ethiopia. Monks would guard the church. Now if a nice miracle would occur, that would get a few heads turning. I wonder what Pope Benedict thinks of it all? I thought the ark was taken away during the Babylonian captivity? Did they sell it to some ethiopian merchant for a nice price back in 600 BC?
So, it turns out the mahdi is an Ethiopian Christian patriarch.

I have a question. Why isn’t this upcoming event mentioned anywhere else in the news? I did a Yahoo search, and no one else is reporting this. It seems to me that, at the very least, this would be newsworthy archeologically. It doesn’t make sense to me.
