Based on a Sermon given by Perry Stone.. On Jan 9th, 2009 Fox News-Powerful Solar Storm Could Shut Down U.S. for Months. A new study from the National Academy of Sciences outlines grim possibilities on Earth for a worst-case scenario solar storm.
Damage to power grids and other communications systems could be catastrophic, the scientists conclude, with effects leading to a potential loss of governmental control of the situation.
The Bible says Peace will be taken from the earth. Perry suggested this could be the trigger...If we have a worldwide electricity collapse, we would no longer be able to communicate with one another no phone, no internet, no television, that being the case how would anyone know a rapture occurred? would they care?
People would be in a panic and chaos would happen across the Globe...
Perry Stone believes the Tribulation started Fall of 2008.
What is your take on this?

What is your take on this?
Can you guess?
Could the *Rapture* happen with Solar Flares?
Could, I guess. I'm not counting on it.
You are such a ray of sunshine.
Very interesting...We might not know how and when the Rapture of the Church will happen, but I believe we definetly know we are in that season......
“A super solar storm could cause a continent wide blackout lasting for months.”

Where is your source of information?
Who are you quoting?
Solar Storms do not last long, and are related to the source of the energy emitted, in this case our Sun.
If the Tribulation period did start in Nov of 2008 and if you read Revelation 11 with the Two Witnesses, IMO the Rapture of the Church has to happen between 2008 and 2011.
The Two Witnesses that shall be on the earth during that time (1260 days) would take us to 2015 which some say is the time that Chirst will return..Just and observation
The book of Revelation mentions “hours” on quiet a few occasions: Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. [ Rev 3:10 NIV ] He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” [ Rev 14:7 NIV]
Blood moon eclipses: 2nd Coming in 2015?
Minister uses NASA forecasting to study signals of Jesus’ return...
God wants us to look at the biblical calendar,” says Mark Biltz, pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Wash. “The reason we need to be watching is [because] He will signal His appearance. But we have to know what to be watching as well. So we need to be watching the biblical holidays.”
OK, so God put a book in the Bible that was nonsense to the alleged audience, as well as to all Christians for the next 1,930 years or so, until our generation? Well, I guess that's one way to make ourselves feel important. We know what John meant to tell the churches at Ephesus, Smryna, Pergama, Thyatira, etc. better than the people of that time who were the churches at Ephesus, Smryna, Pergama, Thyatira, etc. !
The wise reader will interpret Revelation in the context of the current events in play when it was written, and take into consideration the audience it was written to. We are reading their mail, you might say!
Well, here’s some good news. Without electricity, the nuke missiles won’t launch either.
GOD always spoke of a Last a Final Generation...
I believe the Bible was written so that all generations could understand that GOD could come at any given time, this is GOD’s way in telling people always remember to be *Ready*
(For you don’t know when the Lord will return)
If they thought..Well heck Jesus isn’t coming back for another 1000 years, more than likely the human condition and spirit would bcome lazy, maybe they would not be as enthusiastic in sharing the *Good News*
Jesus however did give us clues, signs and seasons to be aware of, upon his return to earth...I think this became apparent with the restoration of Israel in 1948.
Are we living in the Days of Noah? I think so...One of the biggest SINS I see today is the acceptance of Homosexuality and all that goes with it..The denial that GOD exists, scoffers, mockers etc...

When does this sort of thing become not date setting? It's OK if you're allowing a three month window?
Perry Stone
I watched a video of his once, rampant speculation in the Judean desert. In that video he gave an off the wall interpretation of Ezekiel's "valley of dry bones" prophecy that was just jaw dropping.
Just another "excitable" dispensationalist date suggester.

The two witnesses == the church?
How..."interesting".
I don’t believe the GREAT TRIBULATION has started yet.
I believe these are still the ‘birth pangs’ of it.
I think the AC has to be overtly and fairly obviously on the world stage at the beginning.
UNMITIGATED BALDERDASH.
NO other era in history for the last 2000 years has had more than the tiniest fraction of 1% of the END TIMES prophetic contingencies and contexts exist . . . much less dozens and dozens all more or less at the same time . . . since 1948.
Hardly...Revelation was written about events that would unfold in the future...And they still haven't unfolded, yet...
The two witnesses == the church?
What Church?
Well will just have to see how far the Obama is going to go!
;)
AMEN! Thank you!
I’d sure rather be watching from Heaven!
Thank you. Watched it and here is one for you - from Perry’s site.

What are you trying to say when you said: "If the Tribulation period did start in Nov of 2008 and if you read Revelation 11 with the Two Witnesses, IMO the Rapture of the Church has to happen between 2008 and 2011."?
Could these questions get any sillier? Perry Stone is a sensationalist pop prophecy preacher. He is not a Bible teacher.
