Based on a Sermon given by Perry Stone.. On Jan 9th, 2009 Fox News-Powerful Solar Storm Could Shut Down U.S. for Months. A new study from the National Academy of Sciences outlines grim possibilities on Earth for a worst-case scenario solar storm.
Damage to power grids and other communications systems could be catastrophic, the scientists conclude, with effects leading to a potential loss of governmental control of the situation.
The Bible says Peace will be taken from the earth. Perry suggested this could be the trigger...If we have a worldwide electricity collapse, we would no longer be able to communicate with one another no phone, no internet, no television, that being the case how would anyone know a rapture occurred? would they care?
People would be in a panic and chaos would happen across the Globe...
Perry Stone believes the Tribulation started Fall of 2008.

Interesting Article- The world would be in darkness and this is also spoke about in End Time Events surrounding the 2nd Coming of Christ.
John Hagee, also, preached on the solar storm. Didn’t realize Perry thinks the trib started in fall 2008. It started then for me also - w/election day results and peace was taken away!
There certainly would be chaos like never before. But I would imagine that, over time, people would learn to communicate, at least on a local level, like people did before there was any technology. And, considering that most people live in densely-populated areas, or at least not in isolation, if a lot of people went missing all at once, the people not missing would know about it.
Agree..If you have time listen to the 3 part series he did on Youtube it realy is good based on biblical prophecy.

I am skeptical about solar flares destroying all communications but possible disruption is very possible.
Electro Magnetic Pulse, however is another altogether possible event that would “fry” almost all solid state devices. TV, Radio, Autos, and power Generation control devices.
This would not remove citizens from the earth as some see the Rapture happening. A Nuke would, and I have thought about that as a possible explanation of the disappearance of the Church.
When someone tells me they know how the future is going to unfold their credibility goes out the window.
We are not in control, we cannot predict the future, and no one has that type of knowledge. Except our Creator.
