More sloppy Catholic apologetics.
9. We must get to know the outlook of our separated brethren. To achieve this purpose, study is of necessity required, and this must be pursued with a sense of realism and good will. Catholics, who already have a proper grounding, need to acquire a more adequate understanding of the respective doctrines of our separated brethren, their history, their spiritual and liturgical life, their religious psychology and general background.
Decree, Unitatis Redintegratio, On Ecumenism, 1964
Agreed. Having said that, the paragraphs quoted here were done about 30 years prior to the above document, so we should cut a bit of a break. But modern homebrewed "apologists" don't really have that excuse, do they?

What? I have the volume in question. And, as you often do, you’re misrepresenting things.
This is how the Table of Contents reads - and please not the parts you refused to post:
Chapter Seven - The Failure of Protestantism
Protestanism errorneous, 244-264; Luther, 265-271; Anglicanism, 272-305; Greek Orthodox Church, 306-307; Wesley, 308; Baptists, 309; Adventists, 310; Salvation Army, 311; Witnesses of Jehovah, 312; Christian Science, 313-315; Theosophy, 316; Spiritualism, 317-321; Catholic intolerance, 322-324.
There’s no shoddy apologetics there. There’s just a logical progression. Even the things that seem out of order at first glance (e.g. “Greek Orthodox Church” after “Anglicanism” but before “Wesley” makes perfect sense when you realize that question 306 actually is related to those before it even though they are about a different group. The questions came from listeners, both Catholic and non-Catholic. The authors put them into the most relevant order possible according to the questions and the content of answers.
Maybe some of the readers around here are just SHODDY readers?
