You will not see miracles on the news, they are not usually in the business of promoting belief in God. I enjoyed a miracle, in a closet, hiding from the May 3, 1999, F5 Tornado in Moore, OK. I was standing, holding a mattress pad over myself and the other occupants. A very gentle presence, pressed me to crouch closer to the ground, just before the roof and the top of the closet were sheared away with 95% of our home. I had a dime sized bruise on my forearm, spouse had 2 inch scrape on leg. Cats were in a carrier on top shelf above my head. The cats were set gently on the ground next to the closet, unharmed. My audible prayer as we dove in the closet: “Father, we have faith you will protect and comfort us.” He did, I wasn’t scared. During the ten years since, I have been searching out other miracles. Here’s a short list:
Joan Able, healed of cancer (Healing Miracles, Thursday nights at 11:30 central time on WHT)
Andrew Wommack’s son raised from the dead(after 5 hours.)
There’s an entire show of 9/11 survivors describing their miracles. Persons curious enough to look for them, will find them.

That’s great that you survived the F5 without serious injuries. I’m glad to hear it. But it just reinforces my point that all the supposed “miracles” are individual instances when someone gets through a situation that could have been catastrophic. If God was real, all he’d have to do is show the world - even once - something that couldn’t possibly happen without his actual direct intervention.

As for the curing of Joan Able’s cancer, that’s fantastic. My father-in-law has cancer and I hope he’s cured, too, but there’s no way to prove that it was a divine intervention.

I’ll have to find out the facts on the dead son before I even comment on it. But again, that’s an individual situation and not a large-scale event. And why would God cure Wommack’s kid while allowing millions to die in the holocaust and the killing fields? That’s not a very nice God now, is it?
