My behavior doesn't change much from thread to thread. If someone proposed a hypothesis or conjecture in a way that has implications for evolution, I try to explore ways the hypothesis could be tested. If I think it is in the process of being tested, then I say so.If your essay has no testable implications for biology, and that was your intention from the beginning, then I apologise for misreading your intentions.

Believe it or not, I regard you as an old and dear friend, of some ten years-plus standing. In that entire time, you and I have been "yelling at each other," but I can't say I've learned anything from you in all that time, and I feel quite confident that you have not learned anything from me in that time, either.
The reason I don't learn anything from you seems to be that, all things considered in retrospect, you have a genius for "changing the subject" whenever it suits you. So the goal post is ever moving....
Just once I would like to believe that you and I are actually capable of understanding one another. But that would require the goal post not to be moved to suit the "convenience" of either one of us.
