Believe it or not, I regard you as an old and dear friend, of some ten years-plus standing. In that entire time, you and I have been "yelling at each other," but I can't say I've learned anything from you in all that time, and I feel quite confident that you have not learned anything from me in that time, either.
The reason I don't learn anything from you seems to be that, all things considered in retrospect, you have a genius for "changing the subject" whenever it suits you. So the goal post is ever moving....
Just once I would like to believe that you and I are actually capable of understanding one another. But that would require the goal post not to be moved to suit the "convenience" of either one of us.
I think that's a bit unfair. I read through many of these threads and only post when I see a discussion where I think I have something to say.
I thought this was a thread that would discuss abiogenesis and whether it is possible without supernatural intervention. I appear to have been mistaken about this.
