This thread is an ancillary to the Sunday evening weekly non-denominational prayer thread. Tonight we gather in Christ's name to ask that Our Lord confuse the enemies of Truth and Christian values, and confound the efforts by media to lie and mischaracterize. We will be gathered in prayer from 8PM EAstern through the debate period and into the liars club sequence which follows from the talking liberal heads at the alphabet networks.

We ask that the Lord bless John McCain witht he wisdom from God's Spirit, to expose the truth about Barack Hussein Obama and the economic crisis brought on by greed connected with a democrat plan to redistribute wealth where merit was ignored and socialist paradigms were envoked. Tie the tongue of those who would lie tot he we the people, and loose the tongue of those who would speak to US directly addressing real problems offering real solutions to work our way out of the crisis and institute measures to prevent a return to wrong policies.

We ask that the truth regarding whom each man is in character--Barack Obama and John McCain--and expose where the image of a man is fabricated by media spinners to deceive We the People.

I know that tonight we will not hear anyone address Barack Obama's vile defense for killing tiny babies via forced premature birth and then neglecting the struggling little ones to die alone. But that is a true and historic aspect of the man which is most telling of the spirit that is within him, and I fear the spirit which empowers him, the father of lies a murderer from the start.

Every time someone like Mara Liasson tells a carefully fabricated lie (as she did Monday evening on HUme’s Special Report) to obfuscate and try to hide the truth about Obama, I wonder how many Americans actually realize the depth to which media sycophants are more than willing to go to deceive We The People? Truly, this is a war against principalities and powers on a spiritual plane unseen by too many of the American people. I am apalled at so many of my Black Christian brothers and sisters blindly worshipping this man of lies and deceit.

Amen MHG! Lord bring those with hardened hearts and scaled eyes to view and absorb tonight's debate between two men with very different histories and worldviews. One is a servant of his country; the other a citizen of the world. He associates with enemies of America and those of Israel. He criticizes Your Holy Word, and is admired by those who despise Your Son.

We are praying that tonight you will reveal truth from lies, goodnss from evil to those who have been mesmerized by spiritual darkness. Reveal to those thus blinded, Lord, the emptiness and danger of the force that is attempting to sweep America into an economic and social and spiritual gutter.

Open their eyes, their ears, their hearts...those that live in poverty, those that live in wealth, the young, the old, those employed in liberal education, those entrenched in the liberal media. Reveal to them the threat of the intended socialist takeover of America, and create in them a genuine mistrust in Barry Barack Obama Soetoro, that they would hastily flee from his clutches, in Jesus' Liberating Name. Amen.

I stand with you on this prayer.

I am going to read and pray Psalm 27 for John McCain as so many did for Sarah in her debate last week.

I truly hope all eyes will be opened tonight, and will pray this to our Father.

I also hope and will pray that any fake, false, manipulative words that are thrown out tonight by either debater are ripped apart and shown for what they are.

I know and believe that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE with GOD!

And I believe he is right here with us and knows the desires of our hearts.

May our Father's will be done.

While I agree with most of the commentary on this thread, “Thy will be done,” is the only prayer I can, in good conscience, lift. I believe the upcoming fraudulent election of the Constitutionally ineligible, America hating Marxist, Barak Hussein Obama, will be the opening kickoff for the end times. Thy will be done, Lord.
