Unless gay clergy and fornication/non-marital sex are accepted practices of the true church of Christ, it looks like the two personages who told Joseph Smith that “Presbyterianism is not true” were indeed telling Joseph Smith the truth. That is unless you want to defend these activities as part of the true church of Christ.
You fail to mention that these were NOT part of the Presbyterians in the 1830's
