That’s not what he said. He said: “The great apostasy will be the Whore of Babylon,of which I’m sure you are fully aware.”
And he was wrong.
Also, if you’re now claiming that the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon, let me remind you that you did nothing to discourage your friend from joining or returning to her. What does that make you? It is exactly these childish claims that make the Protestant side look so vapid. Go on. Go ahead and now claim that Christ’s Church is the Whore of Babylon if you feel compelled to do it. It is God you offend most with such implications.
