Perhaps I was unclear, I was asking if there was a Protestant denomination that had a plan for a complete reading of the Bible over some period of time as part of the normal readings during Church services.

It has been shown that Catholics include much but not all of the Bible and I know that Orthodox, Anglicans and Lutherans use a system that is almost identical to what Catholics use.

I personally know of no protestant church that reads the Bible in a year as part of the worship service. There may be some. My pastor expositorily preaches through a book of the Bible, making clear the meaning of the text, the context of the text, and the applicability of the text. A pastor friend of mine in Seattle took nearly a year to preach in such a manner through John’s Gospel.

Sorry. I don’t know what other protestant churches do. I think it depends on their pastor. Sorry I can’t be of help there. We do study it on our own and get a chance to delve into it more deeply than we would just listening to it in church. We have our Bibles with us and use them when the pastor does his sermon, but what other churches do, I really don’t know.
