But truly the one and only Great Commandment is an absolute. We must love God surpassingly above all else.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. - Deuteronomy 6:4-5
If a person doesn't get that right, nothing else will matter. (see post 1059)
