Because the doctrine of Predestination and total depravity and the lack of free agency is not of the Lord.
It is true the Lord is the Creator and knows the out come of his Creation (predestination) but the Lord has also given man has free agency to choose which path he will walk.
Man is fallen but he is not total depraved when he has a choice to do the will of the Lord or do something else.
The LDS believe in the counsel of Jesus Christ to building, magnify, and uplifting, one another.
We are all Childred of God and the Lord loves us and that we choose to return to him someday!
Throuh the atonement of Jesus Christ we will be able to return home.
Not to be confused with salvation which is for all except the SOP.
