According to Scripture, there is no such thing as "apostolic succession." Those who have been given true faith in Jesus Christ are the church of Christ, guided by teachers and pastors, none of whom are "successors to the apostles." According to Scripture, there is no such thing as "sacrament of orders." There are only two sacraments in the New Testament, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. According to Scripture, there is no "sacramental priesthood;" there is the priesthood of all believers who make up Christ's church on earth.

Thank you for sharing your own personal interpretation of Scripture.

Good insight. MOST of the Bible is pretty much what it says. Of course there are mysteries and allegories, but it IS the simple gospel, after all.

The "eucharistic mystery," or transubstantiation is a pagan abomination of the true spiritual sustenance Christ instituted at the Last Supper of our Lord.

This analysis makes Christ a liar.

And thus we see why it's not only rude to call posters by derivatives of their names, it can be downright crude.

My point precisely.

Works without faith is dead; faith without works is dead. Nothing too complicated here... Faith really comes first. Then God shows you the works He wants you to do for Him. Not so hard to figure out, is it?

Good grief, annalex. Of course we aren’t supposed to sin, but because we have a sinful nature, we do! But because we have Christ as our advocate, we go to the Father and repent, asking forgiveness, and He grants it. You no longer have to carry the burden of sin or worry that God’s grace has left you because of it. He died for our sins yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Two questions here:

1. Do you believe that since Christ "died for our sins yesterday, today and tomorrow" that that means you only have to ask for forgiveness for your sins once (i.e., say the "Sinners Prayer", go to an "altar call", etc), or do you believe one should ask for forgiveness for one's sins anytime one sins?

If you believe the latter (that one should ask for forgiveness for one's sins anytime one does sin), then, during this act of contrition, do you believe that one should also pray to God something to the effect of, "I will attempt to not sin again"?

I disagree.

Everyone now seems to understand how rude it can be.

If you sin again in the same manner, can you really claim to have repented, and so, received forgiveness?

Easter celebrates the Resurrection of Christ. Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ. If you do not think Christ was either born or resurrected, I would think you are not a very orthodox Christian.

Easter celebrates nothing but a pagan rite of Spring.

If you were familiar with the Holy Word of Elohim you would know
that Yah'shua rose from the dead on YHvH's Feast of First Fruits.

If you were familiar with Luke 1 you know that Yah'shua was not born on the
Pagan feast of midwinter but on YHvH's Feast of Tabernacles as John told
us in John 1.
