Marie, wife of my friend has breast cancer. She is quite a few years younger than me but we all know the dreaded disease can hit anyone.

Have faith. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years ago and she is still going strong. Breast cancer is not the death sentence it was even as recently as 20 years ago. Most forms are highly treatable with minimal side effects and rare re-occurence rates.

It will be your job to be a source of cheer, support and comfort.
